My current upper is a post-ban Bushmaster HBAR Dissy so the PSA should be a little lighter. Now comes the fun part....sell off my old upper or just build another rifle once the PSA dissy arrives.

I should be getting my hammer forged dissy from PSA tomorrow.
Ordered: Feb 17th Charged: Feb 20th Shipping label: Feb 21th Shipped: Feb 27th 10 days including two weekends in total. I even ordered a stripped lower on Feb 24th thinking they would arrive around the same time...PSA was too quick with shipping my upper!

The upper showed up today. I'm not impressed overall but I can live with the product I received as the components are worth the price....its just the putting them together part that needs work. Front sight was installed over the stamped marks on the barrel so only parts of it can be read. Luckily, I could read 5.56 and CHF at least so I'm satisfied that the barreled upper I ordered is the one I received. The upper half of the hand guard has to be removed with a rubber mallet (and reinstalled the same way) because there is no play between the hand guard cap & barrel nut. Both the Magpul MOE and a stock rifle length hand guard will not install without a mallet and I will probably have to dremel any future hand guards in order to make them fit.
Other then the above everything is in excellent shape and I can't wait for my lower to arrive and get some range time. |
