I know there is a lot of palmetto shipping bashing right now. just wanted to share my experience.
i got in on the lower sale on black friday bought 2 lowers and a carbine kit 2 weeks and a half later i had all three things. all great quality and even better price i will say that the tracking number never changed status but none the less my things got here. I just ordered a lower moe kit for my other lower on friday and got a product shipped email today. No complaints here. I will for sure purchase again. Thanks Palmetto

Just checked my UPS status, en route now!
I ordered on the 18th, on the eve of the Shot show, and them still dealing with a huge backlog, so I expected at least a two week wait before anybody even looked at my order, no biggie, on this order I was prepared for the wait. A shipping label was printed on the 23rd, and last night the 26th my order went out, so only 8 days, not bad at all, and if it wasn't for the upcoming weekend delaying deliveries, i'd have had it by the 29th, making 11 days in all from order to my door in Texas. Classic lower build kit, going into a Spikes lower. Next i'm eyeballing one of the midlength uppers with the hammer-forged barrel, can't decide between the 16 and the 14.7, and to make matters worse they seem to be out of black mid-length MOE handguards, so may have to wait a bit....the 16" dissy sure looks tempting too.... Good job Palmetto, will post pics when it's all done.

I got a shipping notification today on an order I placed on Monday the 23rd. It turns out the order actually shipped yesterday, because when I checked the tracking number it showed out for delivery (I live in NC and am therefore in the UPS Ground 1-day zone for items shipped from Columbia, SC). It has since been delivered according to UPS, can't wait to get home and play with my new parts.

I ordered a case of ammo and some mags on Jan 21, and inquired about my order last night in the official thread. I was a little concerned because after 4 working days, I had no indication that my order had budged. This morning I got an answer to my inquiry in the thread, an email saying my order had shipped, and this afternoon it had been delivered.
THANKS Palmetto!! I don't mind some minor confusion for the great prices!! The ammo will make my PSA upper happy!!! |

I ordered a 14.7 complete mid-length upper on the 2nd and received it on the 20th. Not the fastest shipping time but considering their backlog not unacceptable.
I also have to add that I did inquire about my order status once and got a reply within 24 hrs. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely be a return customer.

| I am waiting on an order I placed on 1/13. The wait is not what concerns me, its the fact that they charge your CC when they know its not shipping for 3 or 4 weeks. Very shady business practice to float your customers' money like that. If they are so busy, you would think that they would have enough of their own money to operate their business with.... |

Got my order delivered just now, under two weeks from order to door. Everything as it should be, packaged well, lower parts kit looks identical to another one I paid considerably more for, the buffer is groovy, black with Palmetto logo instead of just plain, kinda cool.
Will definitely order again, a CHF middy upper is next, wish they'd get the MOE middy handguards in black back in stock soon, ETA on those PSA? Thanks again, ~D |

Ehh, much of what they do is built to order, not off the shelf items, pretty standard to pay on order when dealing with a company that does a lot of built to order stuff, whether your particular order includes that sore of item or not. I am sure it is much simpler for the business to handle charges uniformly rather then set it up so they only charge at the point of order for some items but don't charge until the order is shipped for others..... |

the last time i ordered ammo it took 16 days to get to me.
I can understand firearm related parts that they have to assemble taking a while to be shipped but i do not understand how an ammo order takes that long. Especially since it is in stock, it should be as simple as 1 2 3 with a small ammo order... definitely not 16 days. |
