I picked up my new AP4 .308 last week but haven’t had a chance to shoot it. I ordered it from R-Guns and they shipped it to my local FFL shop. I also have a two-year old Panther LR .308 24”, which I REALLY like.
I ordered a JP trigger for the AP4 from DPMS, and it should be here… today?
Anyway, the collapsible stock so far leaves a lot to be desired.
It fits loosely, rattles, and doesn’t lock in the fully collapsed position. I would like to try to find out, and possibly fix why it doesn’t lock in the collapsed position, and if possible, would like to add a thin mylar film to try to make the fit tighter.
Is there a way to take these collapsible stock apart, and if so, how? (BTW, what brand is it, DPMS?)
