I'll try to get some pics posted early next week. |

A little elbow grease and a very light scotchbrite Pad and I was able to remove them all. |

I just finished cleaning my M4LE lower receiver this morning and I was able to remove every mark. Non abrasive is what you want, otherwise it will damage the surface. I use Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black, some Q-tips and go to town. It will not remove/damage the anodizing, but it will slowly remove the mark. It is amazing how well it works. |

Isn’t Aluminum Black just painting over the blemishes? These are deposited onto the surface of the anodizing and can be removed versus covered up. |

Colt puts H buffers in their carbines; my 6920, 6940, and 6960 all came with them.
I'm not sure where the idea of putting H2s in unsuppressed carbines came from, but I suspect it's because of manufacturers using hogged out gas port sizes. |

There is no indication, at least on my lower, that anything was used. My lower looks new. |

Kinda crazy. These weren't anything special. Looked like late model basic Le6920s.
|
|

Wow. That pricing wasn't that great either.

Tom Sawyer.

You can get a brand new 6920 (minus furniture) for that price or less. Unless I missing some intrinsic value in having a police trade-in?

Looks like the current roll marks on the OEMs.
