Im not in retail, so I don't know crap about how this all works, but why post something for sale until you actually have the item? Maybe this is common in the market place...but yeah, Id be pissed if something happens and these actually don't become available.

Quoted: Cash flow. View Quote They order them using credit and take people’s money to pay for the debt. They probably have thin margins. I am just speculating though. Honestly, it is the principle of the matter now. They listed them in-stock, charged my card and they are not producing what I paid for. |

Same boat here guys. Ordered Friday and "label created" since Monday.
|
|
Well before everybody gets too up in arms, AU just e-mailed me back and stated ""It looks like your order should be going out today." Not confidence inspiring but I'm hopeful. I'll report back if/when the tracking number updates to confirm?
|
|
I emailed them this morning requesting to cancel the order and they replied saying that my order was assigned a serial number and that it would be going out in today's mail. So sounds like they finally got them and are starting to fill the orders. I am ok with keeping the order since it will ship now, but I am sure they fell victim to the shipping service like we all experience and things got delayed. Have no fear my friends you will get your order of a rifle that may very well be the last batch available of this type so we are probably lucky, have patience. Hope that helps some of you.

Saw this thread on Monday with the GT's price and was like well shit but I already received my shipping notice from AU so I figured it wasn't worth the hassle of a return with AU/order from GT but I should have because... Quoted: Just as an FYI, canceling an order from AU before shipping is EXTREMELY easy. I've canceled a few, usually get a refund notice via email in minutes. Yesterday, my buddy just canceled one of the $8,000 HK MR223 pistols they listed last week, the refunded his card and emailed him within minutes of getting off the phone. View Quote It is easy to cancel, but they threatened me with the 15% restocking fee because my status was past processing, even though my label said shipped Monday but the status was " Label Created" since then. I really want one and GT is out so I have no other options. |

I contacted AU yesterday to ask why my tracking# still showed "label created"? Turns out AU doesn't even have these rifles in stock yet. They stated they were expecting their order on Monday but its been delayed. I'm currently waiting on a response as to when they expect to get them? I decide at that point to cancel that order and order from GT instead but luckily I called GT before canceling my AU order because GT is out of both OEM1 and 2's for online/shipping orders and are not taking backorders. I swear sometimes that if it is wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all Hopefully AU will come through eventually? I'm going to be royally pissed off if they don't! I am pretty sure, unless they clearly state that they are expecting them and these are pre-orders, that is fraud. They charged my card immediately This is typical of AU. Nobody should be surprised. Print out a shipping label, which they did, slap it on the box and have UPS come and pick it up. Attached File |

Just guessing, nothing more, but my guess is Colt made all these new and dropped shipped them to AU and others. Scan the QR code on the box, that will tell the tale.

I got one my OEM1
Receiver and barrel cage code marked. Yellow paint under FSB Carrier is C marked but bolt has no marking I really like the engraving on lower. It looks really nice. Fit and finish is spectacular, especially for Colt. I will post some pics later. Literally just got home and have to make dinner. Another one arriving Monday and Tuesday. No idea when OEM 2 from AU will be here. So far, I am pleased, aside from no bolt markings |

Just got mine in.
Like others have stated the fit and finish are fantastic on both. Deep "roll marks" and upper and lower mating is nice and tight. Color match is good to. Action is typical smooth Colt. Triggers have the milled flats I never knew about. Both serials are in 72xxxx class. OEM2 has the square forge small print CAGE coded upper, barrel, carrier and bolt are C marked and MPC. Barrel has an R stamp and yellow ink under gas block. The OEM1 has a non coded upper with keyhole forge and no M4 mark. It does have a very uniform application of gray dry film lubricant. The Tmarks are also a bit splotchy compared to the OEM2 upper. Barrel is coded, has the yellow dot, BCG has the C & faint MPC. Was hoping for a royal flush but got a solid full house on luck of the draw.....im glad I was able to get them before they were gone. |

I was finally able to go pick up my OEM 1 from my FFL today.
Mine looks the same as all the other rifles that came from GT Distributors; it has nice roll marks on the lower, flats on the trigger. The upper is missing the M4 and CAGE code. I have not had a chance to pull the BCG yet to check it’s markings. |
