I just got my new Commando lower and there is a blemish in the forging, as seen in the pic below the mag release. I'm super angry and demand two free Colt lowers in order to continue to be a customer. You better pay the shipping and transfer fees on the new lowers too.
Attached File Im obviously kidding and really happy with Arms Unlimited! |

In case you missed out there is a M4 Commando lower on gunbroker...

Thats the exact reason we priced them where we did, sent consecutives to people and didn't allow for any "bulk" purchases of these. Tried to keep the scalping to a minimum

Any idea if Colt Defense has made any other target marked lowers? |

Better for you all that we priced them low rather than high
We acquired ALL stripped lowers from Colt, they want to keep markings to a minimum and not have a ton of different receivers to produce. Anything with Mexico markings was destined for branches of the Mexican federal government. They are overages from those contracts. Quoted:

Final batch I think we are releasing this week or waiting for owner to get back from out of town
24x AR15A2 Government Carbine marked, these will be $350 each and AR15A4 Lightweight marked these will be $150 each |
|
I missed the boat on the M4 Commando marked lowers and would be interested in purchasing one if anyone has an extra? Yes, I saw the units for $800.00 each but not interested in that much of a mark-up.
ETA: I have a KAC SR-15 stripped lower for trade-bait. Cheers |

Thanks AU. I finally got around to picking up my lowers today from my FFL. I never got around to it before hurricane Irma and have been busy ever since. They both look great and are consecutive #'s. I really appreciate you guys making these available to us and look forward to future Colt purchases.

Is there a mailing list to let us know when something new and fun is out? Why not put the lowers up, and mark OOS, and then we can put our email into the queue, at least? |

I just got it done. See below. There are only 24x of the government carbine and I dont know the quantity of the lightweight carbine. This should be the absolute last of the stripped receivers out of Colt! There are some really exciting things coming out of Colt in the next year from what I am hearing, stay tuned

Curious if you have any more info on the A2. I'm guessing this is left from the 2013 cleanup run of 6520s (I have one that's just a few serials off from the example you show in the listing). Any idea how many "AR15A2 govt carbines" there are without the restricted mark?

They are not built and never have been, like all the other stripped lowers we have sold. A corrected pic of a stripped one in our inventory will be posted once the web team takes them and edits them. I just had the web team here post a photo that I had on my phone that was taken by a Colt employee simply showing us an example of how they were marked back when we ordered them.

AU - Hope you get some more of the COMMANDO Lowers, that would be a good one to have. Was able to get a couple different ones from you all at AU. Fantastic Service and Product as ALWAYS!

There appears to be some scalping going on with the COMMANDO lowers on the EE View Quote I think they are still priced lower than what a m4a1 roll marked lower is going for and there has to be a whole lot more of those out there than the Commando lowers. |

Does Colt still do special order items if a certain number of the item is ordered? I read a few years back that they would make whatever you wanted as long as you ordered 300 units.
What's stopping someone from ordering more of these lowers? |

No plan for more commando lowers, whats out there is it.
If you order minimum of 500 they will do a special make up but not special markings. Think TALO exclusives No more Mexico lowers that I know of, what we had was it. Colt doesn't sell stripped lowers typically, they want to streamline manufacturing and having only a few different markings on their rifles is one way of doing that, so they sold all the lowers that have markings they wont be using in the future. |

I wouldn't mind a COMMANDO lower myself but not going to pay $650 for a stripped lower that was probably bought for half that lol. I was though offered a Colt M4LE COLTS LAW ENFORCEMENT Mexico marked stripped lower by someone here on Arfcom, who I will not mention them at this time. It was probably bought from AU by this person. I said I would take it. Once they got my money they said I was sent the wrong pics and I would be receiving a COLTS LAW ENFORCEMENT CARBINE marked lower instead of the Original COLT M4LE lower that was originally agreed upon. I expressed that I was not happy about this. He received the funds for the lower on Oct 3rd and still has not shipped my lower out to date. So we shall see if it gets shipped tomorrow as expressed in an email today, before I contact the MODS here and take any action. View Quote Cheers |

.Sounds likely,..I ordered an M4LE lower from AU when they showed in Stock and I received a Law Enforcement Carbine lower instead and I know i was not thrilled... View Quote Maybe that is why they are handling the new lowers one at a time. I ordered a couple of the lightweight lowers. Good price. I don't see any real novelty, but a good price. |

I had a couple of mix-ups on the AU end and one on mine. This entire Mexican thing and the months of August and September were confusing with AU, and things I purchased were not shipped for weeks. I got one that was used and blemished. Somethings are not worth complaining to the seller. I have it on EE right now, for someone who wants something Mexican. Maybe that is why they are handling the new lowers one at a time. I ordered a couple of the lightweight lowers. Good price. I don't see any real novelty, but a good price. View Quote |

Do any Colt lowers come without the sear web? I'd like to add an aftermarket trigger, but just realized it probably won't fit.
