Still in catalog last I looked, but have been pretty scarce the past year not actually seeing one in LGS. When available, they have seemed overpriced i.e. full retail or more. Previous threads indicated that Colt only did 1 or 2 limited runs per year but do not know if true.

I think this is probably around the time of year they are released. I bought mine around this time a few years ago.

If you're looking to get one the link above is a decent deal. I would jump on it. The cheapest I have seen them is around 950 to 975

They make a run every once in a while. Have to be vigilant. $1,000 is a reasonable price.

In the past Colt made a batch of 9mm guns in the first couple of months of each year.
So by then end of each year they were hard to find.
