Has anyone had to use Colt customer service before? If so, how was your experience? Turn around time?

I have. They were pretty good. Turn around if I remember was like 3 or 4 weeks.

I did as well.  Turn around time was around 6-8 weeks for me.

Turn around depends on the issue.  IMO, they're one of the best companies out there in taking care of their customers. They really go out of their way to make sure you're happy.

I had to return a new Colt Defender 1911 about 4 years ago. I bought it from a dealer in Florida via the interweb. When I removed it from the plastic case a burr on the top of the barrel hood was readily visible. It was large enough to catch with my fingernail, but somehow made it past Colts quality control department. An immediate call to Colt's customer service resulted in a shipping label. I had the pistol back in two weeks complete with a new barrel. To this day, that Defender has never malfunctioned, and is uncannily accurate for a three inch sub compact.

I've had to get spare parts for a rental 9x19mm AR-15 at work from them in the past, and inside of the factory warranty timeframe, they're excellent.  Very easy to get in touch with and very polite.

I can echo the same experience as those who posted before me.  They were polite, courteous, responsive and the turn around time was fast.
