| Those of you that have them, what say you? |
| Two things: A source to buy one and info on purchasing and owning an sbr, maybe a link ya'll could send me to on the protocol to buy one. DSG arms had what I would call a pretty good price but theirs are backordered. Will these rifles do everything that you want them to do or are they more duty specific ? As in close quarter combat? |

Clyde's Armory shows as having one in stock, but the price isn't the greatest. http://clydearmory.com/colt-le6933-11-5.html All you could ever want to know on SBR's. Buy rifle -> have it shipped to a NFA dealer near to you -> fill out forms and get LE sign off or set up corporation/trust -> send forms to ATF along with $200 -> wait -> get approved forms back from ATF with tax stamp affixed -> take approved forms to local NFA dealer and pick up rifle As long as the shooter does their part, making consistent hits at 400/500 yards is well within the capabilities of a 6933. |
| 6933 was one of the best AR's I have ever had. carried one on duty for years. As Wildcat78 said, a lot more accurate at distance than you think it would be. I would wait until they were in here, as price is damn good. https://dsgarms.com/co6933 |

I bought a 6933 from DSG in January 2014 and they made multiple screwups along the way which has delayed me getting the rifle by at least 6-7 months. I bought a 6945 from them in December of 2013. Once I received it I hooked the sling up and put it over my shoulder. The sling fell out of the Rogers stock, something was machined wrong on the QD socket on the stock, it hit the floor and nicked it up pretty bad in a couple different places. I called and they told me that I needed to call Colt.
I've expressed my displeasure with everything that has gone wrong with both purchases and the most I ever got was an $50 credit, after the very first screw up with the 6933 and an I'm sorry. I never even got a response from the last message I sent them expressing my displeasure about the incident with the 6945. Sure they have good pricing but if I were you I'd buy from a different retailer in hopes of getting better service. |

The QD socket failing is a KNOWN issue with these stocks. That is why Colt stopped shipping rifles with them, and reverted back to the standard Gen2 M4 Stock. |

I'd say that's pretty good of them for giving you a $50 gift card. It seems like some people will never be happy. |

I don't believe you understand what I'm saying, they delayed me getting my 6933 by over 6 months because of their mistakes. |
