Does anyone know if the FUGLY (worst in the entire industry IMO) folding front-sight/gas block on a 6940 can be replaced with a standard A2 or any other gas block?
If I can put an ARMS or Vltor folding unit on a 6940 I will try to procure one for my build.

You are going to replace a pinned on (the right way) with a clamp on / bolt on gas block?

If you do find a gas block/front sight that works better for you I would love to purchase your Colt 6940 front sight.
