Everything I have researched on this gun before I bought it said Colt only made about 2000 of the piston guns. I've had mine for 8 months and it is awesome!!!!
Best of all unlike every piston gun I have owned the Colt is the only one that does not have the cam pin problem of gouging the upper reciever. I guess Colt got a patent on the steel insert they put in the upper reciever. Let me tell you it flat out works. I have LMT, POF & LWRC piston guns and they all have the cam pin wear that is bad. POF roller doesnt help much. If Obama does executive order you will never see a 6940P in your hands. If you can afford it and its in stock just buy it

Mine has the one piece bolt carrier and its serial number 12xx which is an early production. No dealer in my area could get one so I used Gunbroker. |
