Why do they refuse to make this in 11.5?

Stick a 6933 barrel on this and sell 1000's. I dont get it.

That's an LE6944, not LE6945.

It will never happen. The cost of manufacturing a new FSB for an 11.5" barrel is a deal breaker not to mention that they offer a variant with a 10.3" barrel.

Good catch!  I must have been subliminally dreaming of a shorter barrel.

Edit for correction.

Cheers

I think they're going to.  For LE especially- it's simply a more reliable system with more of a broad spectrum of ammo than the 10.3s are.

The barrel will be a Govt Profile though rather than a lightweight profile.

They had it at Shot.

IIRC the 6943 was made from unobtainium and only existed as a drawing which can still be seen on Phoenix LED's website. Is there actually a photo of this variant anywhere?

The barrel certainly appears to be an 11.5" but the description below it says 10.3". Has anyone seen a functional model?

Im getting pissed. Im sitting here waiting for 6943ck uppers wondering whats taking so long. Colt needs to hire a fanboy to run their civilian sales. Id set up an online store with the entire product list. Colt would regain 80% market share overnight. I dont know what their fucking problem is.

+1 Couldn't be more right. Their facebook is a waste if nothing changes. What's the point of telling us "we'll look into it." Might as well say "haha, not a chance."
