I just bought an MT6400C from a private party when the sight post is in the detents the blade is not flat facing the rear sight, the blade is 45 degrees off with the corner of the blade facing the rear.  Hope I'm explaining this well enough.  I've owned several Colt's, RRA's Bushmasters and  Stag's and have never seen a blade that wasn't flat on when facing the rear sight.  It really doesn't affect the sight picture but seems strange.  Is this normal for an MT6400C?  My last 6400 was not like this.
BTW: I'd forgotten how LOUD the muzzle brake makes these models!!! LOL

never seen one like that....got pics?
maybe you just got a front sight post with index holes drilled wrong

LOL on the muzzle brakes a friend of mine has a PWS FSC556 on his 6400 and it sounds like a 308 compared to all other AR

ETA:

if I got it right your fsp should look like this

Yep, that's what it looks like!  I've never seen one like it before either.  Go figure.  I've had the rifle on the range and it hasn't affected the sight picture but I think it might if the sun is hitting it from the side.  I think a new sight is called for or try to file additional notches in this one.

it wont affect sight picture but the fsp will look wider....if you're shooting for accuracy that's not a good thing.

Replace it.  That will screw up your sight picture in different lighting.  I'd expect to see horizontal stringing when you get sunlight on one side or the other due to half of the sight reflecting more light than the other.
