I am wondering if anyone can comment on the overall function of the Colt 6933(any cycle issues?)  and can anyone tell me what kind of performance you get with say M855 from the 11.5in barrel?  yawing? fragmentation?   what is max effective range for an 11.5in barrel using this round.  Thanks

There's a reason why Colt went to the 11.5" barrel with the XM177E2 (Model 629) and has used 11.5" barrels for the Commando models ever since.  Here's the explanation Paul at Bravo Company posted a while back for his decision to use 11.5" barrels for his BCM SBR uppers that sums the reasoning up very well:  http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=138&t=174764

Regarding external and terminal ballistics, I'm pretty sure if you hunt around in the Ammo Oracle, you can find the info in there.
