I'd take it out of the box and leave it in the bag as shipped from the factory so it will fit in the safe. It's shipped so that it won't rust in storage.
The bag is a must. Otherwise the rifle will accumulate dust... even in the safe. I have one Colt that I don't really ever shoot. And I have to pull it out and knock the dust off of it once a year. And I wouldn't be trying to sell a gun as factory complete if it wasn't truly the case. (note to self: Never buy a colt rifle from ColtM4A3) |

Well...
I tried to reply to your IM, but you're not accepting IMs .. just sending them. GOD DAMN that's annoying. So I'll reply publically.
Anyway... I'm pretty sure just about ANY member here would be less than thrilled to buy a gun that was not a true factory complete. I'm sorry if you're insulted, but you specifically asked about NOT disclosing this to a potential buyer. |

There was 8 paragraphs talking about collecting, one about the lowers going around... There's a lot of 6920 lowers going around because of the M4 upper take-offs, and there's a lot of potential for these to be peiced back together because of the demand. Just asked if collectors would consider this a complete rifle and if all pieced back with 100% genuine colt. I said NOTHING about hiding this or being dishonest. You turned my post into an insult to my integrity for some reason. |
