Gentleman, Well i was shopping at a local gun store and the dealer knows i have true passion for the original Colt SP1 carbines and pulls out this NRA 90 percent condition 6001 and starts teasing me by flashing the carbine around the store and seeing if any of his customers knows the make or model of the gun. By this time i have a used LE 6520 in my hands from the display rack which is in like new condition and the visa debit card is just about to fall out of the wallet on the GC for eleven bills but all hell breaks loose when i see the original Sp1 in all its glory. The dealer comes over to me and says i will sell you the LE gun or the sp1 for the same price. I did take more than i second or two and i told the dealer i take all the sp1 hands down. Several of the other customers were really to young to understand why i would choose the older carbine over the latest LE 6520. I just informed everyone its a Icon of a gun which started the whole carbine kraze in the uSA and one of the best KISS guns on the market in the sixties and today.!!
