i have been looking at the colt 6933 with the 11.5 barrel. there awsome looking. i have been looking around and came across the cmmg in the same length. i know this is the colt part of the forum. but i am trying to see if the colt is worth the extra $400. also do u guys have an pictures of a 11.5" next to a 16" rifle?

thanks for any info or thoughts u guys might have.

CMMG is good.  Colt is best.  Is it worth $400 more?  Only you can answer that question.  As for me, the 6920 and 6933 are my shooters. . . .

I have had my 6933 since last summer and could not be happier with my choice to purchase it.  It has sent a round down range every time I have pulled the trigger and it has done nothing to compromise my confidence in it should I have to use it on a call (out).  This may be a personal view, but going CMMG you may at some point say to yourself "damn, I wish I had picked up that 6933," whereas vice versa you will most likely never say you wish you had gotten something different in lieu of the Colt.  While I do not have a photo next to a 16" rifle, here is my Commando in it's current form although I do have an LMT SOPMOD stock enroute and I may upgrade to an EOTech 553.

If you can afford two, get both.  CMMG will function well, no doubt.  But Colt will retain value. . . .

i like the idea of it keeping its value but then i dont see myself selling the gun. just like the idea of owning a colt just wish they were closer in price to make the choice easyer. those 11.5s are just sooooo dam sexy
