I recently received one of these in my shop:
Appears to be Factory New w/Paperwork & Colt Manual (dated 1993).
A2 20" HBAR 1-9 with FH, no Bayo Lug, includes Adaptor Screw for Lg Pin Lowers - Upper Receiver is marked "COLT 223" on left side. B/BC/CH - BC is Half-Circle.

Not sure if factory packaging or not; was securely wrapped in bubblewrap in unmarked box of appropriate size, but no Colt markings on box.

Questions for Colt experts;
Has Colt discontinued the Conversion Kits? (biggerhammer shows these Added in 1993, but no "Dropped" date is shown)

What would be a fair market selling price?
or;
Assemble it to a lower and sell as rifle, or part out and sell Colt parts?

Thanks for your input!

I had one of those and it came just as you stated. It also had a lil manilla envelope with an Accuwedge in the box as well. If you notice, the receiver should have "Colt 223" stamped on it as well.

 Colt doesn't market those uppers anymore, and most uppers being sold are take-offs from what were originally complete rifles.

 1993 was a period when "going HBAR" was very fashionable. I even sold off my Sporter Target, guvment-style barrel upper, for the kit you have. Have always regretted that move as the HBAR is cumbersome, anti tactical, and loses the more desireable 1/7 twist.

 I would just put what you have, complete, in the EE and let it ride for awhile.. Somebody should buy it......$$550??
