[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt 6450

I know a few of you Kool-Aid drinkers have some. I feel the need for another Colt carbine, and the 6450 has caught my attention. I'd really rather hold out for a 6933, but I can't stand waiting any longer for C3 transfers. I can pick one up locally and I'm curious how they stack up to the Rock River 9mm's. The lightweight barrel and A1 carry handle make it a simple, light carbine. Would it be a nice compliment to my 6920?

I have 3 of the 6450s and like them very much. As a matter of fact I do need to get ride of one of them as all it does is sit in the box.

but....

I really think you'd like the 6933 better

You really need both.

I love my 6450. I shoot it at an indoor range that is easy access to me.

On the other hand, If I'm going to Elk Neck, I always reach for the 6933 first.

I think that once the 1020 comes out, my 6933 will be jealous though
