I posted this same thing in the discussion forums and thought maybe the colt forum should see this too.    Well I bought a Colt LE6920 last weekend at the gunshow for 950$  it was used.    Well the rifle is in great condition but there was one little problem take a look.

It will be stamped on the bbl (maybe double-stamped ) under the hadguards near the FSB

Curious markings. Too bad it isn't a quarter, it would be worth a fortune!
