The "new style" Colt M4 stock?  What's the difference between it and the "old style"?  Thanks.

Are you asking about the old CAR stock vs the new M4 style stock?

Thank you sir.  One more: is it still 4 position or is it 6?

New one is six!  The old one rules!

Why do you think the old one is better than the new?  Forgive my naivety here, but it seems like six positions could possibly give you a better fit than the four.  Also, what's the point of the bottom of the buttplate curving inward?

Colts are not 6-pos.

I like the original design better.  It's more compact.  Just a matter of preference.

Do you mean the toe of the stock on the NEW style?  That is supposed to be an improvement for shouldering the weapon I suppose.

I agree, I still love the old CAR style.

The Colt new stock is a four-position stock.  It also have more "depth" or "length" to the buttstock, making for a better purchase on the shoulder pocket.  I prefer the new stock.  The Crane stock is also good.

I prefer the old one too, but can make do with the newest version.
