Hi, Does anyone know if Colt ever produced an SP1 variant with a teardrop forward assist, no brass deflector, A1 rear sight (and, of course, large front pivot)? If so, I would like to get my hands on one.

No SP1’s had a factory forward assist. FA was introduced on the Sporter II (R-6500)in 1985.
