OK I've finally figured out what's going on with my AR.
Just so you know, its a 20" HBAR bushy.
The 2 screws that hold the carrier key to bolt carrier are un-screwing a full revolution after 30-50 rounds.
This is causing the action to short stroke.
I know it has to be coincidences but I never had this issue during the first 2000 rounds I put through the firearm until I finally sent it back to bushy to get the barrel re-indexing done. Right?
I can't think what bushy could have done to caused this.
After 60 rounds today, it started jamming again.
Took bolt carrier out, sure enough, back screw this time was loose by a full revolution.
Tighten, not one jam yet again after 20 rounds.
For shits and giggles, took bolt carrier out, un-tighten both carrier key screws one rev.
Starting jamming the same way again.
So that's my issue.
Pretty crappy in IMO.
So is this common or is this one of those that happens to folks every now and then?
Will Bushy cover the cost in fixing this, its still under my first year?
