If it were my rifle, I'd try a bit of lacquer thinner on an inconspicuous part like maybe inside the mag well to see if it damages the finish before working on the paint. It will probably be easier to replace the furniture than to strip the paint off it. How much of the gun is covered?
Hopefully, Bushmaster will chime in here and tell you about a miracle solvent that will clean up your rifle by simply immersing it whole in a tank or something. In any case they'll know best!
