Vortex,
I saw the post on your blog already...was waiting for the email this morning for new info...to be sent back to the blog I had already read Do you have MSRP on the PST Gen II scopes? I'm budgeting 2017 out right now. Congrats on what I'm sure has been a ton of work getting them ready, I'm sure it will be a great year for your company. Bryant |

Will any of the Gen 2 PST offerings have 34mm tubes or will they all have 30mm tubes like the previous PST scopes?
Also, any pictures of the EBR-4 reticle? Can you share any more details on the Diamondback tactical scopes? Magnification ranges? Mil/Mil turrets? Pictures of available reticles? |
|
Very cool stuff, I'm excited. I would love to see more pics, but I guess we'll have to wait until SHOT.
As soon as I hear they have one to look at in the showroom I'll have to stop by. |

View Quote Looks like the new 1-6x will be about the old price of a 2-10x ffp. I can handle that with new features. |
|
|
was interested in the 1-6 til I saw the reticle. I like the old TMCQ RETICLE. A lot more sub tensions and the bright red quarter ring can double as a red dot on 1x. I don't see any Gen2 PST's in my future.

The VMR-2 in the new PST Gen II illumination is nearly identical to the Gen II Razor!

Any chance you put out something in the Diamondback line to compete with the Athlon Talos BTR?
30mm tube, mil/mil, side parallax adjustment and a great APLR2 IR FFP MIL reticle. Athlon Talos BTR I want a nice featured filled scope for a rimfire that wont break the bank. |

A optic similar in design, specs, and featureset to the razor gen 2. Why would you introduce a optic that competes very well with your flagship 1x6 optic unless you were preparing the way to introduce something new to supplant the gen 2 razor at shot show? Are you going to introduce a new line of razor HDs at shot 2017? |

What impact with the pst gen2 line have on the HS-T line? Will those lines get the same upgrade treatment or will they be phased out?

Love the idea of the 1-6 but for a little more you get the razor. Is there a significant difference? I'm more into which one will withstand the most abuse

I'm more into which one will withstand the most abuse View Quote My Razor is built like a fricken tank. I would have no qualms about buying a PST 1-6 if I didn't already have a Razor. I will probably be buying a 5-25 when it hits shelves. Exciting times, with such abundancy of damn good optics. |

I agree this should be offered with a JM1 reticle.
I was able to make that reticle work for 55gr, 75gr, and supersonic 300 blackout. If your like WTF? about the blackout... Strelok would show you how. It's about that 3x setting and the linear growth of the JM1 reticle as you go through the magnification range. I am calling it. Razor HD gen 3 at shot 1-8x variable. |

Thanks for the input! We greatly appreciate the input and will take it to heart!

How will the new PST line compare to the Razor Gen 1? I'm starting to piece together a precision rifle ( RPR 6.5CM) and am trying to learn all the differences between the different Vortex lines.

View Quote Razor gen1 uses 35mm rings. PST uses 30mm. Reticles will be very similar. EBR2B vs. EBR2C 5-20 on the Razor, 5-25 on the PST Gen2. Razor HD 5-20 (MRAD) has 36 mils of adjustment, where the PST has 20. |

All I see on the website is the finish and glass clarity..how well do they handle abuse? Is the clarity THAT much better on the Razor? Are they made in separate countries? What justifies the difference in price? |

Isn't clear when you use the comparison feature on Vortex's website. Thank you. |
