Is the spitfire supposed to come with shorter screws so you can remove the spacer from the mount?
What size screws wil I need?

I bought one new from a local store and it didn't have any in the box.  It is being put on a different rifle and needs to be mounted lower.

ADM makes some. I'm debating getting one...

I have the ADM "co-witness" Spitfire 1X QD mount.  Prism sight so it doesn't work like a red dot with your BUIS, but it places the sight at a co-witness height on a flat top AR.  The mount fits well, is secure and so far has been durable.  I'm happy with it.
