Ok been reading through the forums and found some info but nothing in concrete, which ADM QD mount for 1/3 co-witness, the SOCOM? It says in one of the post that the SPARC sits a little higher than a T-1 so this would have an effect on the sight picture. Does anyone have the SPARC on a regular flat top M4 (Colt 6920) with standard FSB and a Troy flip up rear sight. I am looking for the best set-up for this optic to start trying it out.
Thanks! |

First Thing you need to do is tell us what front sight base you have. You state a colt flat top and say a standard FSB. That does not make sense
Second thing is a lower 1/3rd Co witness would lead to a mount being a little Higher than absolute cowitness. Please restate your question. |

You'll probably want the absolute cowitness mount instead of the socom(lower 1/3) mount as the position of the LED will intefere with being able to see you sights...not a huge deal if you have flip ups front and rear as you probably wont use them and if you are going to take a sec to flip them up you can just as easily QD the ADM mount/optic |
| Ok sorry, I have a Colt 6920 with the carry handle removed (flat top) a Troy industries flip up rear sight and the factory standard fixed Colt front sight (triangle), yes I was told yesterday by rainier arms that I do want the absolute co-witness ADM mount for the SPARC. Does that sound correct? Thanks and I hope I explained things a little better. |
| Larue Tactical LT660HK works absolutely perfect! I am taking unit to work with me tomorrow, training Sergeant for DOD police agency, work is a full service range for tri-county law enforcement, I am going to let as many people (mostly LEO) I can shoot it and put the SPARC through its paces for a couple days. |

Could someone remind me of how the cowitness looks through a SPARC with the LT-660HK? And has anyone tried the new LaRue mount designed for absolute cowitness with the Aimpoint? I know the tall 660 is too high. I am trying for somewhere between an absolute and lower 1/3 cowitness with a SPARC. I am planning to use it with fixed BUIS. Thanks. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
