....IS SECOND TO NONE !!!!!!!!!

Without going into the sordid details, my Strikefire issue was addressed to my satisfaction, in an extremely timely manner, and, to beat it all, Vortex actually acted like they were proud to handle the problem. I will not hesitate to spend my hard earned dollars with Vortex in the future. Hats off to the company, and in particular to Brian Widder. You went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned sir. Thank You.

I too would like to give some feedback on the Vortex customer service people. I talked with Kelli recently about sending my red/green dot StrikeFire back. She sent me a link to get a FedEx pre-paid label with. The StrikeFire is scheduled to be delivered to Vortex on Monday(1-31). After reading a couple other threads about the red only dot being brighter, I called today and when Vortex ships me my new StrikeFire it will be the brighter red only. I can't say enough about the way this was professionally handled. You have an A+++ customer service team as well as a second to none policy! I am so glad I bought Vortex and I will again with no reservation.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'll be sure to pass it along to the CS department.

FedEx just drove up and handed me a nice box... My StrikeFire replacement. I had asked to get the new red dot only version as it is supposed to be brighter then the red/green version. Good news is that it is indeed brighter! When I turned it on to level 4 it was brighter then my old one was all the up. I am a happy camper indeed. Now to get this mounted up and sighted in. This Arizona sun gets awfully bright.
Thank You again Vortex. Your customer service people have come through with flying colors!(Thank You Kelli!!)

This is one of the reasons I went with Vortex for my rifle and carbine. I've never heard a bad word spoken about the CS at Vortex. Its nice to know that a company has your back the way they do.

Have to agree. Their CS is excellent.

I had a Strikefire that the dot was turning on and off. Called them up and they emailed a paid UPS label. Received new scope very quickly. Unfortunately the second scope did the same thing a couple times. I stretched the battery cap spring just a hair and tightened cap more firmly. I haven't had a chance to use that rifle again. It's on a range gun so no biggie. I'm sure they will address it if acts up. Great service!

I'm happy to hear that they also cover shipping to their facility.

I was on the fence between a SWFA and the 1-4HS and waited three months to get the HS ONLY because of the good customer service I've heard about on the forums.

I just bought a 2.5-10 HS mainly because of the CS track record.

Sam, if it isn't you, please let whoever is in charge of your Customer Service policies know that this is a huge factor and is giving you a competitive edge in the industry.

Update to my above post:

After posting in this thread yesterday I decided to try my 2nd Strikefire that I stretched the battery spring in an attempt to remedy intermittent red dot on/off problem.

I didn't have much time before dark so I only put 80 rounds through. The spring trick might have worked. It didn't shut off or even blink. Makes me wonder if that was the problem with my first one.

I did notice before stretching the spring that it was pretty flat to the battery cap, providing little tension. 80 rounds isn't much of a test but hopefully it's something that simple. If it was, sorry for the hassle Vortex. Again, great CS.

I just wanted to chime in on this thread.

Sam has been gracious enough to let me bug him about an issue i have had, and i have to say, he has made a continued customer out of me.  Even though i haven't even had time to send my original unit in, i already know i am going to have a good experience, just from the response so far.  I highly doubt i will amend this post with anything but a satisfactory conclusion, if today is any indication.  Thank you Sam and crew!
