The strike fire is supposed to shut off after an hour of being turned on.  Are there any other actions (movement, adjust intensity) that restart the timer other than turning it off and on?

When turning the strikefire on, does it return to the last used color and intensity level or to a default setting?  What is the default setting if applicable?

Thanks

The newest ones actually use a 2 hour shut-off. I believe that it was just the first production run that had one hour shut-off. You should be able to tell by the position of the power button. If the power button is on the top of the control module then it was the first production run and 1 hour. If the power button is on the side it is 2 hour.

If you change intensity, NV mode, color, etc it will restart the timer.

The StrikeFire should always return to the last used mode. The only catch is that if you manually turn it off you have to cycle through the other color, so when you turn it back on it will not be the same color you were using. You will have to push the power button a second time. However, intensity and NV mode should be the same.

If you allow it to auto shut-off then everything will be as it was last set.

Hope this helps.

If you were using red, when you turn it on, it will be where you last had it.  If you were using green, then you will need to hit the power button a second time to get to green, intensity will be where it last was....sorry Sam, no disrespect intended!

No worries. Thanks for re-wording it for me.

Thanks,

Your Vortex website still sites the one hour time.       Optics planet does not cite the shut off time at all.  That's a big selling point that is not being touted.

I'll make sure it gets changes right away. Thank you!
