Is there any word on to when Vortex will be shipping more StrikeFire's out?
I ordered one from Optic's Planet & they did not give me a shipping date. They said it will be coming driectly from Vortex. I attempted to search for this answer but I cannot find anything. |
| I just got on the backorder list a few days aog at Cameraland in NYC. I spoke to Vortex a day ago and they said shipments should be in soon and then they will go out to the retailers. FYI, Cameraland still had some of the low mount models a few days ago, but that was a few days ago so they might be gone already. |

But like you I want the high mount as well. I just wish we would get some sort of date from Vortex instead of everybody just saying "Soon" "Soon we will ship them". |

Were they the newer ones with the power button on the side or the older ones with the power button on top? If it is the new one, I just may order from here so I can get it. Thanks

Thanks I'd give them a call and ask. Hopefully they have their stock onsite and someone will be nice enough to check. I've done stuff like that before and most people are good enough to check if you have a reason for asking. In this case you want the newer version and they SHOULD check for that reason alone. |
| Just wanted to let you guys know that cameraland does have a few low mounts in stock still, got mine in 2 days so they are pretty much on the ball with the shipping. The only thing I was unhappy about was that they are advertising a free pair of Vortex binoculars with any Vortex rifle scope purchase, when I got the scope there were no binoculars so I called and they said "well, that doesn't apply to the strikefire" I said "but it is a rifle scope" and they said they need to take that off their website cause the strikefire doesn't count, lol. |
I got a call today, when I come in from work from optics planet. The lady wanted to ask what mount I wanted, AR15 or low mount. She said they had forgot to enter that option on their site, when I placed the order. SHE SAID THEY SHOULD BE IN IN A FEW DAYS!!!! and they would ship shortly after

Also check the threads in the main Vortex forum area for dealers that have them in stock right now. I posted one yesterday and someone else posted one yesterday also. |
