I'm having a hard time finding a vortex strike fire with a high mount ring,.... but if I can find an available one with a low mount ring, is there a way I can purchase just that high mount ring separately?

Thanks a lot Sam.  Your rep was very helpful.

midwayusa.com has the scope available with the low mount, so I purchased that and I will purchase a high mount (another manufacturer) separately!
What's an extra $10 to receive the coveted strikefire scope by Christmas?  :)

Good, I'm glad to hear that you were able to get things worked out. Good luck and good shooting!

Hey Sam, one more question,
What size ring mount would I need to get?  I'm looking at the leapers 30mm high see-through ring... Would that work?  Would the mid size work as a cowitness with my fixed front side base?

The ring diameter you need is 30mm.

I'm not sure what the height is on the Leapers ring though. Just guessing from the pictures it looks like it would put your irons in the lower third. If you can find out the heights of the ring from the top of the rail to the center of the optic then it should be easy to know.

For a lower third co-witness you would need about 1.56"
Absolute co-witness would be about 1.45"
