NDS-45 2 position CAR buffer tubes 7075 T6 forgings Mil-Spec diameter Cut threads (not roll threads, sorry) Here they are, done in XM Gray type 3 hardcoat

Ha ha - no safe per se actually. But for as much as I paid for the real tube and stock I don't like lugging it around.  So...you will take it off everytime you go to the range? Surely that's more likely to "damage" it than actually using it. Is the gun it's on an original Colt Carbine? If not, maybe you should consider selling it to somene with an original Colt who is in need of an original 2 position RE. Just a thought. |
