Hi Guys,
Whats the "optional" long roll pin thats included with the NDS 601 / pin? It says its optional to install, but not sure where it goes as an option. Thanks guys - really nice stuff much appreciated. |

It was originally used on the Colt 601 and 602 lowers.The purpose of the roll pin was to keep the buffer tube from backing out.NDS makes their 601/602 lowers with the roll pin hole for looks only.In other words the hole was not machined to hold the buffer tube in place on NDS.That's why they say it's optional. |

The hole is made to be slightly lower than the threads so that modern receiver extensions can be installed. Thanks. Harlan NoDak Spud LLC |
