6.5 Creedmoor UU in all Black .... Ordered 9-25-2017 & received today ; It looks like my box is missing a barrel nut. I will double-check tomorrow on the other parts.... I sent an email to Customer Service. It is my first LaRue & it looks wonderful! Very nice anodizing & machining; Looks like good attention to detail ( 34 years exp. as a tool & die/moldmaker perfectionist ). My lower that I ordered is supposed to be at the FFL Friday. Good looking rifle so far ! The threads at the muzzle look perfect, and the chamber looks pristine at first glance, with no signs of chatter marks. Thanks Mark; I am positive it will drive tacks :) !! View Quote |

When my my order of 4 Hornady, one federal, and one sig brand ammo arrives next week, I plan on doing a chrono on all different loads and will post here. Pm if you want to a specific brand and I will see what I can do. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I was wondering about that 130gr gold medal Berger ... it seems to be showing up at Walmart lol If the extra velocity was going to make up for the less BC compared to the 140GR Hornady load View Quote |

Got this from 6.5G owner ...
""Unreal gun...has replaced all the other ranch guns for day to day shooting Trigger great Scope light Color perfect Length good Gun light-this is so important for ranch gun Removable atlas bipod handy I need to leave the suppressor on but often forget as I don’t like to leave tax stamp gear out and end up shooting unsuppressed to often. Would be nice to have a flash hider vs break for when unsuppressed as it seems noisy? Can’t seem to find your KeyMod to rail piece that came with this gun for other guns I have purchased...very smooth and less prone to catch things than other versions I have. Overall 10 outta 10 and I will end up with more once variants exist. Ps..the UDE coating I got on a upper/lower is a good looking color and really stands out." |

The 130 Berger are on my shipping order. They won't be in until I think Tuesday. So I ordered Hornady 140 American gunner, Hornady 140 eld match, Hornady 143 eld-x, Hornady 147 eld match, 130 federal GMM berger, and sig Sauer 140 bthp match. Discloser: the 140 Hornady American gunner I purchased are academy sports black box sold exclusive to academy under the "black box" packaging. From what I have researched it's Hornady 140 American gunner packaged exclusively for academy sports. It will be choronoed from a competition electronics pro digital. Probably accidentally left out: "the most accurate rifle ever produced" View Quote "When it passes through (assume chest but missing the heart) the black ammo leaves a tiny hole and does not pour blood for a while which can be a tricky track job This is only a problem because without recoil you can almost always get 2-3 hogs out of a group." |

Just received an email my upper and lower status changed from GTG to Lowers, and have 2 tracking numbers now.
Too early to get excited? |

I really hope the FGGM 130 Beorger’s shoot good, I got about 8 boxes of them... plus a case of Prime 130s. Plus some Hornady American Gunner 140, Federal American Eagle 140, and a couple boxes of Nosler Match 140s.
Waiting for all the rifle parts left me with little to do but impulse buy ammo. Sigh... oh well! |

hi , serious question here. I have a predatobr 7.62 16 inch barrel. I am going to get away from the 7.62 and want to go 6.5 creedmore. other than buying an ultimate upper kit and building a another rifle, what are my options for this predatobr if I want the 6.5.? will even the barell in the ultimate upper kit work as a direct fit in the tobr? will I have any other problems that I'm not seeing? any suggestions are welcome. thanks. please answer asap as I live in nj and have a very limited amount of time before this new governor elect totally destroys whats left of our gun rights. should I just sell of tobr? or is there talks or rumors of larue putting out replacement tobr barrel cartridges etc? thanks a million
ps. out of curiosity I bought the 7.62 in 16 inch because I liked the size and portability. so will a creedmore in a 16 be a total waste of time and money etc. |

I was under the impression that other brands’ off the shelf barrels had extensions that would not properly fit the LaRue upper. I could be wrong, though. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

There was a thread where MSTN had a 6.5CM barrel built for his LaRue and the extension he used needed work to fit the LaRue upper. So, I believe you just can't slap another's barrel onto your LaRue upper. |

Results from the range today with my 18" 6.5. Think the rifle is capable of better. I was next to two guys shooting bolt action 50 cal so it was a bit distracting. Still pretty impressive IMO. 140gr ELD Match 41.5 gr H4350 GMM Large rifle primer Peterson 6.5 brass 2.800 COAL Both are 5 shot groups at 100yd. Felt like I pulled the shots to the right a little so it should do better when I do my part. Un-suppressed https://s1.postimg.org/6jxxvt76pb/20171110_141658.jpg Suppressed with Silencerco Omega on ASR mount. 5 rounds at a decent pace. https://s1.postimg.org/6kap9zawnz/20171110_141716.jpg View Quote |

Anyone try a Superlative Arms Adjustable Gas Block (Solid Set screw model)
Was wondering how the spacing on Larue 6.5CM matches up with this gas block and also how it performs ! I have been using SLR sentry 7’s on most my Larue Builds since I mostly run suppressed but wanted to give the Superlative Arms Gas block a shot. |

Got it sighted in today. Only about 30 mins. But 100 yards with Hornady 140 American gunner....it's a shooter. No time for chrono. Next weekend is chrono long range weekend.

Has anyone tried Prime Ammo through these? Just got the 6.5 CM barrel last night for my Tar Heavy and have a case of Prime. Will be a while before I can shoot it. I have heard Prime can be a little on the hot side for the 260, but haven't seen anything for the CM
