Don’t have that one but do enjoy my EP9 Aero. With a Hybrid 46 it is very quiet.

If you can not get that, consider the cmmg rdb bcg/barrel kit, and build it out using your choice of parts. I did one with an 8" and the suppressor under the hand gaurd, its so fun.

Good point, I need to consider a 9mm suppressor.

First time I shot the build, I could hardly tell it even went off aside from the quiet spring noise. Keep in mind this set up was ultra simple/cheap, all regular AR/m4 parts, the only special stuff was the rdb "kit" and the magpul pmag 9mm inserts. I wish I had gotten the SLR SD handgaurd though.

Beside ordering a Kuna or something similar, I'd like a 9.5 or 11" MEAN Arms. I just need to decide on a suppressor, maybe something like a Deadair modular. I'll have to take some time to research 9mm cans.

I have the the older Dead Air Wolf-9SD. I believe the current rev is called the Wolfman. I run it on a B&T APC9 and a M-11/9. There are probably many great options nowadays, but it's a nice 9mm subgun can - no complaints.

I'm have to up my knowledge base, didn't know about wipes, K cans, etc. Loads of options including modular, serviceable, etc., but choices narrow considering dimensions and performance. I like the SiCo Spectre, Obsidian 9, and the Wolfman, but I'm still reviewing others.

Hi guys,

I thought I’d post this here since there are only a handful of people who might be interested, and only about half a dozen of you gentlemen have regularly contributed to building this thread into 187 pages over the last nine years or so.

I have a .260 tOBR barrel available, along with a few cases of factory ammo (Prime and Precision Match) - I had no idea I still had PRIME tucked away in the back until the other day.
I’m sure most of you have moved on to newer toys since the .260, but I wanted to mention it here in case anyone is interested or knows a buddy who might be looking to add a .260 tOBR barrel to their collection.

Feel free to reach out if you want pics or details.

Thanks for posting. Is it the original Prime (Norma) ammo? I'd be down for some and the barrel.

I concur. I can't handle the LaRue hate over there. Mark's products are proven.

I joined SH to meet some new people, sell a few items, and get involved in some discussions. I listed a rifle and had a guy interested. After literally weeks of back and forth, the buyer of one of my rifles said, "I'll take it," but then started making ridiculous demands (using a specific FFL he found that was more than an hour away from my location to save $20 on the transfer fee, etc.) and tried to renegotiate the price after we had already reached a deal. When I explained the situation to Frank from SH—that we had already agreed on the terms and that on AR15.com, "I'll take it" means exactly that—he wasn't very sympathetic. His only response was, "THIS IS NOT AR15.COM! The buyer can do whatever he wants."

It believe varied between 5-12 degrees(guessing from memory), targets are 500 left, 600 left, 700 center, 800 center right, 900 on the right face.

Let me get on GIS and ill get the bluff height and target height....

My real question would be about the hold when shooting down. Since the bullet is dropping in, do you hold low?

Shooting position is 3026', target area is 2930' to as low as 2918' at about 6-700 M.

Figuring at 100ft elevation gain -

500 m = 3.5 degree

600 m = 3.0 degree

700 m = 2.5 degree

I do not remember what I used in real life and I didn't save it in AB. This reminds me how much I want the Maztech.

In a range like that I get an average angle and use it instead of measuring every shot, then I shoot the numbers AB plops out. I do not input wind and I just use the T3 wind dots calculated for 260 and I call wind. So no, I guess, I do not hold low.

I think in super high angle you have to alter your hold low, which in that case it makes more sense. I dont have anything high enough to try it

45 degree look angle roughly doubles your hold to 600, 1.38 mil 90 degrees flat to target, and 2.14 mil 45 degrees down to target.

We put up nice clean targets and they didn't like it so they took them all. Some wise guy painted them white so they stuck out. That didn't last long.

How far do you want to shoot? There is a really fun shoot first Saturday of each month outside Bend. There are two stages, first is long range, 1,000 yds to 1 mile. Second stage is random engagements 300-1,600. The random engagements is my favorite. One of my favorite engagements is a group of 5 sneakers from 380-420. So fun!

If you want to shoot 1,000 - 2 miles I have that as well, and a place for everyone to stay…
