It was time for some new treads for the Tundra and decided to go with the the newly designed Nitto G3s over the Toyos AT IIIs (Toyo owns Nitto). I drove them back on local roads and the highway (only 20 miles), but I can feel a definite difference over the OEM Michelins. They were very "steady" on the highway, no wandering and a firm "feel" to the roadway as well as on the local roads. I really have no cons (a whole 20 miles); no perceived difference in acceleration, stopping or cornering. Slightly higher road noise than the OEMs, but I had to turn the tunes down to actually notice the difference.  There are different sidewall profiles on the tire, one side is a normal AT-like tread and the other are the lightening bolts. Apparently I'm cooler with the lightning bolts.

I had put ~60,000 miles on them when I upsized to 37" and new wheel and still had plenty of tread left. They had great traction in snow and were really quiet (the Cummins wasn't exactly quiet, though). |

I will need new tires before next winter. I’m not of road all that much but when I am it is always slick so AT’s are needed. |

Very much so (~500 hp). It was a 24 valve, not a common rail that's much quieter. Plus, it also had stacks (it was also 7' 4" to the tips).

The setup is fairly easy to remove, four turnbuckles and the forward drawer wheels, but they you have to put it all back together. I'd suspect 30 minutes each way. I can throw some stuff on top and strap it down, but I'm long done with throwing 30 bags of mulch in the bed; I have things delivered now.

snipershide-ers will recognize this horrible picture i took of my latest toy. For old time sake I put my Proof 260 barrel on it and shot the rest of my loaded ammo. But I'm kind of over that now and will probably run the 6CM barrel it came with. If anyone wants the AI Proof 260 barrel let me know, it has about 1400 rounds on it.. I looked at my tOBR the other day, does that count? There's no way a TBAC ultra 7 will work on the tOBR right? back pressures and what not? |

My dominus runs well on the 18", but the full size magnus pushes outside the functional zone of the gas system(pst) even with the spring and buffer from slash. If your barrel is longer(22") you could get one of two possible results, more pressure from extra dwell, or less if the burn has slowed(powder dependant). I have not run a 22" 260 tobr barrel suppressed, yet, just the 18". I have an ultra 7 here, I could try it but id need another muzzle device. |

I have to drop an SRO on the Kimber and get me some Federal Flight Control buckshot for the Beretta. I also need to decide on an RDS for the 1301.

Payson, Prescott, parks, Pima, showlow, pinetop, safford, etc etc. Tons of small town high country and even some surrounded by the pines. |

Installed the SRO and got a little range time today. Very flat shooting and quick back on target when I do my part. I tried to old Carnival bb gun game to shoot out the center of the target. I'm still left and a bit high, but I think this Pro Comp is a good shooting piece. 15 yards with remanufactured 115gr 9mm.

Had to fill a hole by picking up a used 10/22. This one is a bit different with a nice checkered stock and a 22" barrel. It was a Lipsey's exclusive back in 2018. I would have liked a piece of walnut but they saved some costs by going birch.
