More to follow. ML I'm sorry, are you new here? |

"The .25-08 enjoyed a brief period of popularity that lasted through to the late 60's. Since then, the .25-08 has seen very limited use. This cartridge has a very small, but ardent fan base. Every year, a small number of .25-08 custom rifles are built for keen reloaders" |

Especially with Hornady making affordable and very accurate factory ammo in 6.5 CM. It is going to get expensive feeding my .260 when it gets here. I'd love to have another LaRue gas gun in 6.5 CM to shoot when I run out of .260 ammo. |

The question is why? If you want to make bags full of money crank out the tobr barrels in 300 blk and maybe 450 bushmaster for the small frame and 260,6.5cm and 243 for The heavy. If you are looking for a new project maybe lets get a 300 win mag semi cranked out when you really need to have some stopping power |

Man, I'm confused, generally when I think of the -08's and their popularity I think of
.308 7mm-08 6.5mm-08 (260REM) 6mm-08 (243WIN) But I don't generally think of 25-08 as it's a pretty oddball caliber. You can't find any factory ammo for these calibers, the and the projectile selection is poor. BUT, if I infer the "I didn't like the hole in the -08 line-up, so I've been working on a 25-08 to fill in the gap and satisfy my OCD requirements..." that leads me to think all the above chamberings are on the way, not just 260REM. |
