As you may know, I have no man card for cooking, none, and since HH6 is on vacation, I vary between bad alternatives. A co-worker gave me one of his free range chickens and told me to just cook it!  So, a couple of YouTube videos later, some dillo dust, and dinner is served!  Nothing special, but a significant step forward.  Seared it on the grill for 10 minutes breast side and five on the back, then grilled it at about 350 degrees for 15 minutes and then 12 on the backside.  It was still juicy, but I probably should have decreased cooking time just a couple of minutes. I have entered a new world.

as long as you didn't use a propane outside upside down broiler!!  




Meh, I'd still eat it.

Ive seen much worse...

I travel to Thailand quite frequently and while I love most of the food there, Its disturbing some of the things you see done to a chicken in some of the street vendor stalls...

I travel to Thailand quite frequently and while I love most of the food there, Its disturbing some of the things you see done to a chicken in some of the street vendor stalls...


It was actually pretty good and I destroyed it.    Today I'm going to bake the other half and enjoy it tonight.
