Well I was getting my Dillo today and asked the girl if I could get a few extra so I could send them to you guys who want one. She told me I needed to talk toTim. I went and talked to Tim and he shut me down faster than ever. Needless to say I was a little disappointed in the way he handled the situation. I understand he probably gets asked that a lot and I'm not upset I wasn't able to get extra but you would have thought I asked him for a free rifle the way he talked down to me. All I have to say is that I'm sorry guys... I tried. 
ETA: I did say that I was trying to get them for the boys on the LaRue Industry page on Arf. |

The SHOW has lots of bloggers/airsofters/paintballers (since about 1988 when I started going) some of whom I'm sure have never shot a real gun.
They are the ones typically grabbing handfuls of the "free" stuff and tying up staff with questions about products they will never buy/sell/stock. Not saying this is the case with you spizike9, just saying that about every booth I've ever been to with a give away item had people just walk up and ask for the free stuff and then walk away (or grab a handful, like a kid shoplifting candy). Was pretty funny a few years ago. I was at the Shiloh Sharps booth and had finished an order for a rifle that I had wanted/drooled over since I saw their booth at the very first Shot show I had gone to (they have some of the most beautiful guns that there are - extra fancy walnut stocks - anyway). I was standing next to the rifle display and speaking with the rep after completing my order, just going over some of the features etc. The rep then told me to pick out a hat, so I did. About that time, one of the aforementioned types walked up and said, quite abruptly "can I have a hat". The rep said sure, you get one with every rifle you buy! It made me giggle 
Just saying they probably get a blue million people asking for Dillo's, and after almost a full week of it - I'm sure the nerves are frazzled. I miss the SHOW, need to try and go back next year. Miles of walking, lots of cool stuff you don't otherwise get to see out in the wild and all sorts of interesting people from around the world. Hope you have sore feet and a wish list a mile long!

FWIW if this is the Tim I have dealt with he is good peeps. He worked diligently with me on a group buy of the CK/CL dillo's that were produced that we later turned in an additional fundraising event
