Does anyone know how often a rifle/upper fails the moa test? When they do fail, I wonder what the process is that follows? I would guess, inspect rifling and chamber, then retorque the barrel if nothing is found and retest. Then scrap the barrel and repeat.  But I don't build them for a living.

Oh that's easy....If a barrel fails to meet LT's quality standards, they just grind off the LaRue logos and sell them to the other 'precision manufacturers'...LaRue rejects become other's top-of-the-line products...

...Everybody knows that....

(joking of course...I have no idea....)

I am not sure what they do, but whatever it is it works. My 2nd 18" Stealth would not shoot under an inch for the MOA challenge. After following their recommendations to baseline the upper they sent me a call tag. In two weeks it was back and shooting great.

Fwiw, that upper was one of the last to go out before they started proofing them.
