Looking to buy some spare parts and wanted an extra BCG or 2 (5.56)...noticed there is none on the LT site. Will there be more? What else are you guys using; Young, Lantac?

The build I am slowly (painfully at that) acquiring parts for will have a Lantac BCG.

I emailed them a few weeks ago trying to get another LT BCG and was told they don't sell them anymore. I bought one in 2011 and really want another in the new finish.

Tex-spec BCG... Boy that was a chocolate yogurt storm.

I like BCM for BCG but also have two PSA FA premium that are running fine. One RRA. My highest round count BCG is a ... wait for it ... DPMS!

I've got one TX-spec, and a couple of Leitner-Wise BCG's...

I'm just hoping to see that chrome 5.56 OBR BCG.

I'd take the Texas-Spec BCG, but the chrome one would be the icing on the cake for my Stealth that's slowly coming together.

Maybe a few could shake loose for the ones who bought barrels, MBTs, & lowers?

I don't even care if it's a sale, I just want the option to buy one (or two).

I have a Texas spec BCG to go with the LT build in progress. Short of a chrome LT BCG, I'd go with a BCM and call it a day. I'm not one to get caught up in the chrome lining this, unicorn piss lining that, etc. The only reason I'd be on board for the chrome LT BCG would be because it's LT and would keep the gun as much LT as possible. There's enough cleaners out there that are downright awesome that I'm not going to spend the extra $$ just to make it easier to clean, and some bling.

Check Brownells. I picked up a DD chrome for a great deal. I cannot recall the cost but at the time I checked around and it was a big savings over the closest competitor. Even at DD. Only because they were on B/O. Oh and it was not a shiny polish chrome finish, more a satin polish. I am not sure if they make their own or farm it out. I do own a couple DD rifles and have had no issues. Actually they are my grandsons mine are Ptars, and Tobrs!  Whith a hybrid Ptar build. That will partially change if I can get a lower from LT.

I'm holding out for the LT in chrome.

If they don't materialize, I'll probably just throw a Colt or FN BCG in the Stealth.

True.

Hard to beat a Young's full auto NM chrome though, it's what mine is currently using.

I'm liking the Young.

Were the TexSpec bolts an in-house creation, or built to spec outside?

They haven't been available for years. I went with a Lantac on my 12" stealth barreled upper.

Those look nice as well. In all honesty, is the coin for the Young (or similarly marketed precision BCGs) 'accuracy' worth it?

I had a Young standard BCG in a SBR and didn't think I would be able to get much more accurate with a "match" bcg.

It said "Mil Contract", so I'm going to assume outside.
