Stay positive brothers! It's a really nice suppressor and worth the wait. It's no secret on this board that I'm a huge fan of the AAC M4-2000 and still believe it to be one of the best cans ever made, however I'm very pleased with the TranQuilo and have put it to use as the tool it was intended to be and it has proven to be an innovative design and is very rugged. On my 5.56 tOBR with LT's adjustable gas block, it's one soft and accurate shooting rifle.

I’d love to get mine on a Form 4 - been back ordered with my black 7.62 lower since 1/15/18.
At least I have the upper to keep me company while we wait |

I was lazy on completing my trust and getting form 4's sent for my suppressors. I sent them 4/12, delivered 4/14, CC charged 4/18. I guess the waiting game really begins now. I'm excited to have them, but am pretty patient and actually forgot I owned one for a few months... Ooops..

You will love it.
I got mine stuck a couple of times because I overtightened it- so be careful. Resolved the issue with a partial mag dump and thick leather gloves (and that was borderline achievable). |

I am sure this has been covered before, but I could not find it.
Why no 6.5mm Tranquillo brakes for sale ? |
|
|
They are you just get a spare upper and barrel when you buy one.
Same reason no 300bk baral for my tobr. |

Looks like anti seize or grease on the threads inside the suppressor from the factory. Would it be exeptible to put such on the brake prior to install? Not much just a film on the mating surface, not the locking surface? Might prevent trouble.
Can't wait to get out to the range. Just got the 6.5g sighted in. About 1 moa groops right now but that is all me. Just glad Mark and crew got the short cycleing issue fixed. 25/17 round elander mags fed flawless. |

I finally had a chance today to try out my Tranquilo today. I shot my 6.5 Grendel UU and my .308 18” UU with and without the Tranquilo. There was no noticeable difference in the function of either rifle when going from suppressed to unsuppressed. All of my brass ended up pretty much at 4 o’clock and I did not notice an increase in gasses in my face either. I’m very happy with it.

Mine has gotta be approved any day now. Went pending 11/9/17z
|

Have now shot the TranQuilo on both my 6.5 Grendel UU and the 300BLK UU. It's great on both of them. It's definitely heavy though. 23 oz for the can and guessing another 6 for the brake, so almost 30 oz total. My DeadAir Sandman is only 16.8 oz fully loaded.

Finally got mine (purchased with the Grendel last summer) and ran it on my 7.62 14.5" tOBR and the grendel. The suppressor is a fat pig but I like the way it works very much. Minimal extra back pressure, and the noise reduction was where it should be. For whatever reason it sure did shrink the groups on both rifles, which is a nice bonus. I'm very pleased.

A couple notes from my first range session.
-blowback is minimal -rifle is much less fouled after 120rds suppressed than it was with the 762sdn6 -it shoots a nice flame out the front -it is louder than the 762sdn6 was, I shot it a couple times without ear pro and I wouldn’t want to do it more than a few times in a range session -it’s also on a 10.5” 5.56 so I had realistic expectations for what it would be, would have liked a little quieter but happy with the lack of blowback and that’s why I switched to it. |

ordered UU kit on March 01, received UU kit on March 27th. Beautiful fit and finish!.....picked up my lower (June 6th)...status NFA Pending!

Very happy with mine having shot it on a 10.5” and 16” 5.56.
Kicks ass not to have blowback anymore. |

Wish I could have added them to my UU kits, but alas CA..... Oh well, someday I’ll be free.

Well I received my Tranquilo suppressor about 2 weeks ago. I have been having all sorts of fun trying out different rifles on the farm. So far my favorite to shoot is the 12inch UU I ordered in 300BLK. Its pretty dang quiet when shooting subsonics and still quite the tack driver. The 6.5 Grendel shoots really well suppressed. So far I haven't tried any groups yet. I have just done some test shots to see the sound reduction capabilities. So far everything can be fired without ear protection besides the 308? I was firing other guns so I had my plugs in. I would assume just a tid too loud for no ears though.
On fathers day I attempted to shoot a few groups with the .308 suppressed to see if there was a difference. Unfortunately while cleaning my guns in the dining room, my 4 year old daughter turned the turrets on my mark 4 when it was unmounted quite a few times. When I arrived at the range I was way off and was trying to sight in using some cheap ammo. Had horrible results and will need to go back to the range to try again. I did get a chance to see how it cycles. The rifle cycled 2 mags flawlessly on the unsupressed setting of cheap Perfecta 147 grain brass cased, and about 5 rounds of Gold medal match was what I fired first until I realized my kids got to the scope. My daughter really likes looking through scopes! . On the 3rd mag I had a couple FTE. I turned the switch to suppressed and I was running fine again. I had a local shop (that I am no longer doing business with unless I must) install the muzzle brake. The guy took over an hour to install it, brought it back crooked, then took another 20 minutes to bring it back straight with a marred finish. Pretty scary since these guys sell a lot of stuff. Upon letting my suppressor cool enough to take it off, I instead unthreaded my muzzle brake off the barrel, with the brake still inside the suppressor! I mounted the Tranquilo muzzle brake adapter myself on my 300blk UU just fine. And it didn't take me an hour. And it doesn't come off when I unthread the suppressor from the gun. So it was a pretty cruddy day at the range that was cut pretty short. I will update with some groups in the next week if I get a chance. Everything cycles great with the suppressor. Pretty awesome deal for $399. It has to the best suppressor out there. The mirage cover I ordered from LaRue works great as well. Thanks again LaRue Tactical for the nice equipment. I am excited to see the UDE lower on Friday. |

Ordered in September from LT. I did the Form 4 through the Sikencer Shop kiosk on 10/13/17. The check cleared 12/12/17, and the stamp is dated 6/14/2018. I’ll pick it up tonight.
Larue 6.5 Grendel in Reardon Oxide. Check. FLIR PTS736. Check. Tranquilo. Check. Riding around in the Polaris Ranger looking for targets in the dark? Well, God bless Texas and Mark Larue. |
