I believe this is far from the truth and if I wanted to be about the look I would have just posted pictures of all my guns and gear. Ive carried appendix for about 4 years now and I do carry all the time. I carry a pistol at work and to find me unarmed would be like finding an original birth certificate for Obama. Not many realize the amount of time, knowledge and perfect practice its takes to shoot 5 rounds from the beeper in 1.09 seconds. Once again I respectfully disagree with it all being about the look because I'm all about the skill and continuing to increase my skill and knowledge. Sometimes life happens and it can be tough to be in great shape all the time. I see the importance in fitness and having capacity to start or finish the fight if necessary. |

I don't give a dam about your gut, I have one myself. I carry a gun at work, you will never find me unarmed, I fully understand the amount of training it takes to get to where you are at and I don't give a flying rats ass about your level of physical fitness or why you do what you do... Carry a gun that points at your junk is stupid! |

Well thats great you think its stupid and many stories of people shooting themselves with owb, cross draw, open carry etc..It all goes back to quality training and just because you carry a gun doesnt mean your armed. Last time I checked pistols arent dangerous in the holster! |

Those people have shot themselves in the leg or creased their rumps not blown their twig and berries off. It all goes back to quality training and just because you carry a gun doesnt mean your armed. Being armed is a frame of mind; making good decisions is common sense... Neither one of those can be trained and just because you have one does not mean you have the other. Last time I checked pistols arent dangerous in the holster! Last time I checked there were four basic rules of firearms safety. Number two said, "Do not point a firearm at anything you are note willing to destroy". That rule is not negated simply because the gun is in a holster. Listen, s**t happens and it happens to all kinds of people all the time. The best we can do is minimize the risk to ourselves and others by properly handling and carrying firearms. If it is your choice to hold Mr. Happy at gun point so be it but no one is going to change my mind about it. I wish you nothing but the best, CS |
