I just received my Costa and it is amazing!! The only thing I noticed is that there is a bit of play between the upper and lower receivers. Do any of you have that?
The reason I ask is that my other 2 tOBR's have no play at all.

Factory second. I'll give you $1k for it.

It had a great test target. Just looks like there was a slip on the last shot.

I'll let you know later on today

GoogleFu says a O-ring or "accuwedge" will solve this issue and it's nothing to really worry about.

No play with any of my larue rifles - I have to work to get them apart. The costa comes apart the easiest, but it has also been shot the most... I love the hell out of that gun.

Call Larue.

Absolutely no wiggle on mine. Solid as a rock.

Thanks for the replies!! I will contact LaRue and see what they tell me.

I got mine today. It's the first Larue I've owned that will even open without a pry bar. The rear opens with little effort but the front pin and pivot are tight. Very tight.

Mine was stupid tight when I first got it. Had to use something as a punch to knock the pin out and place it over my knee and give it a good smack to break it open. After several range trips, it breaks open easy like any other AR.

I put an o-ring on the pivot part of the upper receiver as a work-around for now. I will contact LaRue next week and see what they tell me.

The rifle is crazy accurate, so this is more of a "would be nice to have it fixed" then a necessary repair.

You could also try a national match pivot pin from aramlite.

But seriously call Larue.
