I know LT specifies SF cans for their rifles, but does anyone have any experience with Silencerco Cans on a LT rifle with PST? Specifically in 7.62?

just picked up a silencerco specwar 556 - need to mount the muzzle brake and get to the range, so will let you know later.

only have surefire for 762 though, so no experience there.

I specwar 7.62 and 5.56 on my tAR. Awesome can, very quiet and minimal blowback.

The mounting system is top notch.

Don't suppose you might know someone with an 7.62 OBR or tOBR that would let you mount it up for a PST function test?

Roentgen,

This is not exactly what you are wanting but might help you with some info. I have a friend with a 762 Saker, he runs it on his tAR. The recoil is rough but the factory setup runs fine while suppressed, overgassed yes but no ripping case head rims off etc...I think the Saker has a lower back pressure like the Surefire. You can easily blow a full hard breath through the can from the attachment end just like the Surefire, compared to my ThunderBeast can that you cannot do so without it blowing air back between your lips and back of the can.... I know not very scientific but it's something

Anyhow my assumption is that if it runs on a tAR W/O PST it should run perfectly with PST.  I run a ThunderBeast on an 18" OBR and I had to change springs to keep it from tearing case rims off even with PST.  With the Sakers lower back pressure I would think it should run great.

Short of firsthand experience, that is exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for. I'm filing paperwork for my trust atm, and will placing an order for a Saker before the first of the year! Thanks safetyoff!
