I've got a question that I can't seem to find an answer to. I'm going to being ordering a rifle from Larue's website, however this will be the first gun I've purchased online and I'm not sure how the FFL portion works.
Since the rifles take so long to get shipped, do I need to let the FFL Dealer know that I am putting their name down on an order now? Or, should I just place the order on Larue's website and enter in the FFL dealer I plan on using, then once I get notification that it's going to be built or shipped I can make arrangements with them? I just wasn't sure if Larue reaches out to the FFL dealer right when the order is placed or only once the order get's started. Another quick question, if they don't contact the FFL dealer until it ships, will I have an opportunity to update the FFL information should it change? Thanks for you help. |

It is a good idea to let the FFL know and have them send thier information to Juli, so she has it onhand when your rifle is ready. Likely your FFL will understand the process.
They will not contact your FFL until they are ready to ship and are confirming the FFL information. You can change your FFL at any time until the rifle ships. |
| I'm going with a 16" PredatAR. I'll probably place the order online this weekend so if you have suggestions or can think of something I should consider feel free to let me know. That being said, I feel pretty confident that I will be very happy with this particular rifle. |

By they time it gets there you'll have a chance to save money to pay for it and mark will have released tAR profile barrels and other calibers for it |

I liked the profile of the predetar, so that's good to hear. You just made Larue a few more bucks. If I order a tOBR today, when they get around to building it they will use the model they have at that time? Thanks again for everyone's input/help. |

Okay just to be super clear, I'm not involved with LT so I don't know that info for sure and Mark hasn't officially said other calibers etc are coming he's just dropped supper-dupper hints. Having said all that, the tOBR is the way to go even if nothing else ever comes for it. |

After comparing everything it just made more sense to do that. And, like you said, I have plenty of time to stash away some funds. The order is in, so now comes the painful part of waiting. |
