[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Dumb OBR question...

I apologize in advance for my ignorance - but I have an 18" 762 OBR on order and i'm hoping we are going to see some movement soon so I am slowly getting ready for it.

It comes with an A2 stock and I have a CTR w/ RISR that I want to put on it when it gets here - I assume I just need to purchase a larue receiver extension for 7.62 carbine (LT629)? Is that all that I need to get? I assume I can use the buffer spring that comes with the gun.

Thanks in advance - I know it is a very simple question, but just want to make sure I have all the right parts. Any advice is appreciated.

A2 buffer spring is not the same as the carbine buffer spring. The buffer itself will not fit either unless LT ships them with the spacers (meaning they use a carbine buffer and spacer and not an a2 buffer)

Contacted Larue - they said just need the extension and can use the same spring that it comes with.
