I received my LT104 today and put my Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 in it. When I mount the scope, the eye relief isn't exactly right. I've got the scope moved all the way forward in the mount and the mount is as far forward as it will go on the upper. If I move the mount forward enough to correct the eye relief, the mount sticks out past the upper onto the first rail and gap of the handguard. It doesn't go far enough for the mount to latch onto the handguard. The lever is about even with the end of the upper. Would that be a problem? I know you're not supposed to bridge the gap, but don't know if this would cause a problem since it's not actually clamped to the handguard.

Sounds like you need the LT-139 instead of the LT-104.

What stock are you using? I have the LT-104 with the same scope and it works perfectly on both my sopmod and A2 stock lowers.

Magpul ACS. I can get it to work if I move my head back, but want to be able to go nose to charging handle.

Try a Magpul STR or CTR stock

I found the ACS a little long for my use

I can put my nose to the charging handle like it is now. With my nose on the charging handle, the eye relief is a little off. The only thing that fixes it is moving the mount forward.

Ok, I misunderstood you

Being its not clamped to the hand guard I can't see it being an issue.
