Hi all. I recently purchased one of the American Trigger Corp Black-Gold triggers, previously in a LaRue .308 OBR (the owner standardized on another brand trigger across his ARs). I tested it in a MEGA MATEN receiver and it works great... until the selector is installed.
Could anyone with an OBR do me a favor and measure the height of the shelf on the selector, to help determine the cause of the issue? |

| I replaced both of my factory selectors with BAD-ASS ambi selectors. I haven't had any function issues on my 556 or762 tOBR's, but the 556 selector was difficult to remove. I ended up having to push on the disconnector while simultaneously manipulating the trigger to remove the selector bar, and the same thing to get the BAD-ASS into its pocket-as well. Hope this helps. |

Yup, I caught that from the installation video. I'm doing an install with a BAD-ASS selector as well. By my measurements, I need to remove .030" from the selector shelf (and not from the trigger tang, otherwise it could disable the additional safety of picking the hammer off the sear when the safety is engaged) No biggie, just gotta acquaint myself with some files, dykem, and patience later this week. |
