Which LaRue mount would you pick to mount a Leupy Mark 6 or 8 (1-6 or 1.1-8) on a LMT MWS?  The OBR mount?  It says something about MOA built into the rail of the OBR rifle?  I would hate to pick the wrong mount and run out of elevation.  Range is less than 1000m....mostly 100-300m.

Lots of LaRue mount choice and many appear to be almost the same.  No need to worry about where the mount can sit on the LMT MWS since it is a monolithic rail.

Thanks!

LT-104 should do the trick since you aren't shooting long range.

I would suggest the LT111 on the LMT MWS.

Would you mind explaining the reasoning for that?  I am not sure I understand the advantage of the LT-111/120 over the LT-104.

Thanks!

The 104 will position the scope farther forward, and sits just a little lower than the 111.  Either should work with back-up irons under.

Since I wasn't worried about irons, I went with the LT807 for my Mark 6 on my tOBR.  It sits lower than the 104 or 111, and gives me great cheek-weld with the RAT stock.

I went with the LT 111 with my MWS and was originally going to use the Mark 6 but ended up with an HDMR. I plan on using a NVD in the future and the 111 lines up better. Also since it's a monolithic platform I have no need for the goose necked 104 to place the optic in the proper eye relief position. I use LT 104's on my 15's and 111's on my 10's. Even if it wasn't an MWS with a mono upper, the upper receiver is longer on a 10 than a 15 so the ocular lens is in the proper position with a LT 111. (For me anyways)  It's also more expensive so it has to be better right
